Cycle across the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria, discovering the rich history and folklore of Central Europe.
This fully-escorted trip starts in the old Czech country of Moravia, where you’ll explore the UNESCO site of Lednice-Valtice and the old wine cellars of the Knights Templar.
Crossing into Slovakia, you’ll head into the White Carpathians – land of hidden settlements and little vineyards, where you can learn about local traditions while sampling the wine…
You end up in the attractive capital cities of Bratislava and Vienna, a fitting finale to your journey through a region once ruled by the old Austro-Hungarian Empire.
The rides follow some of the most popular cycle paths along the Danube and Morava Rivers, as well many off-the-beaten track routes.
Your tour leader will be on-hand to show you the way, and provide insight into the history and culture of the region. There’ll also be a support vehicle alongside – hop in if you get tired!
This is a fascinating bike tour through a relatively unexplored, historical region of Central Europe.
