Prague is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Your tour guide will walk you around the historic centre to explore Prague´s top attractions.

Follow in the footsteps of Czech kings to Charles Bridge, Prague Castle – the largest castle complex in the world – walk through the narrow streets, medieval squares, and dark passages to the Old Town Square. Here you´ll see the Orloj astronomical clock.

Our carefully selected path will also lead us to Wenceslas Square, where the main demonstration occurred during the Velvet Revolution in 1989. You´ll walk through Golden Street – known for its tiny houses – and you will also visit the St. Vitus Cathedral.

After Prague, the second most-popular destination in Bohemia, we’ll move to Cesky Krumlov. This UNESCO-listed town beautifully nestled against the meandering banks of the Vltava River looks as if it is cut out of a fairy tale.

After lunch and dropping our bags off at the hotel, we’ll start with a guided walking tour of this historic town. Our path will lead us through small medieval squares, narrow streets, and the extensive castle and chateau complex.

We recommend an evening walk through this romantic town full of cosy coffee shops and traditional Czech pubs called “Hospoda,” an ideal place for a classic and memorable Czech dinner.

In the morning, we'll continue to the UNESCO town of Telc, where you travel back to Renaissance times and imagine the streets full of horse-drawn carriages. After lunch and a guided tour of this fairy-tale town, we then travel to the royal town of Mikulov. Mikulov lies at the heart of the winegrowing area, once ruled by the Liechtenstein family. We will have a city tour, taking time to appreciate some of the many monuments and buildings. These include the historic square with its Renaissance surroundings; St. Anne's Church, which dates back to 1623; and the impressive Chateau, a dominant feature of the local landscape.

This morning we explore the UNESCO World Heritage Centre of Lednice-Valtice, known as the Garden of Europe, or Moravian Versailles. You’ll visit the most significant attractions here, including the Lednice Chateau, built by the Lichtenstein family, and the minaret, for stunning views over the chateau and park.

We then cross the Czech-Slovakia border and head to the royal town of Skalica. In the 17th century, it was one of the most important cities in Slovakia, flourished by wine production, which remains. Here, an authentic wine-tasting with a local vinedresser will wait for us.

At a local wine cellar, you´ll have the opportunity to taste some locally produced Slovakian wines, including the red wine Skalický Rubín (Skalica´s Ruby), which refers to its specific colour.

In the late afternoon, we head to Vienna, which will be our home for the next two nights. After check-in at our hotel, we can enjoy our first Viennese dinner either at our hotel or one of the near-by restaurants.

Together we´ll get to know the historic centre of the town, including the Stephansplatz, where you can admire the capital´s most important religious symbol, the magnificent Stephansdom Cathedral.

After lunch, the afternoon and evening are free to visit some of Vienna’s best attractions, such as Schonbrunn Palace, Hofburg Castle, and Belvedere Chateau. In the evening, why not visit the Mozart Museum or treat yourself to a show at the theatre. Your tour guide will be there to assist you with anything you might need.

Here we'll have a stroll through the Old Town's narrow streets, exploring the town's most important sites. Our path will lead us to the Primate's Palace, St. Martin's cathedral, the Old Town Hall, Grassalkovich Palace, and we'll also enjoy the splendid view from Bratislava Castle of the Old Town and the Danube River. After lunch in this charming city, we'll continue our journey to beautiful Budapest, another gem on the Danube River.

Accommodation
Budapest, Hotel Lion´s Garden.

Hungary’s capital, Budapest, is a city of two parts – Buda and Pest, which sit on either side of the mighty Danube connected by several bridges. Its relaxed and informal atmosphere, together with its plethora of historical and cultural monuments, has placed it firmly at the top of many travellers’ visiting lists.

Some of our favourites are the sprawling Buda Castle, the fantastic architecture of the Hungarian Parliament, and the Museum of Fine Arts. But one of the most treasured pastimes in Budapest has to be sitting in one of the local cafes, enjoying an al fresco lunch or mid-morning coffee, and merely watching the world go by.

We will spend our time in Budapest on an included sightseeing tour, with free time afterward to explore on your own. In the evening, why not experience a cruise on the Danube River with great views of the spectacular neo-gothic parliament building.
