Come and enjoy a cross country skiing lesson around Strbske Pleso, a picturesque, glacial mountain lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks and forested hills. You’ll spend the day in the mountains, making the most of the picturesque surroundings as you find your feet on cross-country skis. We usually spend the morning around the lake, before stopping for lunch at a traditional restaurant. There’s also the possibility to go into hillier terrain above the lake after lunch, for stunning views of the Low Tatras and Slovak Paradise National Parks.
Meet your guide at Strbske Pleso. Here you will be kitted out with cross country skis and poles, and be briefed on the day’s excursion. You will have about five hours of skiing in total. There is no particular fitness requirement as we can tailor the excursion for the group – you just need to be active and love the outdoors!
This trip operates daily, so you can pick a date that suits you. Choose a day between 20 December and 31 March.
