Enjoy a dog sledding adventure across snow-covered meadows in the scenic High Tatras. First of all, professional mushers will teach you the basic principles of handling the sled and you will get to know your huskies. You then head off through on trails that have been picked by your crew to give you the best dog sledding experience.
Experience an unforgettable one-hour dog sledding adventure in the foothills of the High Tatras. Upon arrival, your musher (dog sled guide) will brief you on the basics of dog sledding and help you get familiar with this exciting activity.
You’ll begin your experience as a passenger, comfortably seated in the sled while your team of huskies leads the way. Once you feel confident, you’ll have the opportunity to take the reins yourself and steer the sled — guided by several friendly, hard-working husky dogs.
This is a perfect activity for families with children as well as adults, offering fun and adventure for all ages.
We’ll choose the best High Tatras location for your dog sledding adventure based on current snow conditions. A few days before your activity, we’ll confirm the exact location and provide detailed instructions on how to get there from your hotel. If needed, we can also organize a private transfer to and from the dog sledding spot for an additional fee.
