Dog sledding

Another of the lesser-known activities you can turn your hand to here in Slovakia is dog-sledding. Now you have the chance to participate in this adventure and remarkable means of transport. We will take you through deep valleys, forests, meadows and magnificent mountains where you will experience this amazing sport, where humans and animals work together as one.

The location of previous European dog-sledding championships, experience this quite unique sport in one of our Tatra Mountain resorts, a great area for first timers. Our team of mushers will teach you how to ride the sledge safely and with Slovakia Explorer you have the chance to try it yourself at fraction of the price of other locations, such as Finland or Canada.
