Ski Resorts

Slovakia is a paradise for lovers of downhill skiing and snowboarding.  Home to Tatranska Lomnica, the highest ski resort in Slovakia at 2,190m, it includes modern chairlifts and cablecars, and snow making equipment.  Another great resort, Štrbské Pleso is popular with families, children and experienced skiers too. Other skiing resorts include further east Strednica and Bachledka and in the western Tatras, SpalenaDolina and the much smaller Jonovky Milotin, great for the youngest skiers. The biggest and busiest of the Slovak resorts is Jasna, located within the Low Tatras National Park in Demanovska Valley.  The resort offers 49 km of pistes suitable for all levels.
